Environmental Sustainability has been the cornerstone of our brand since its inception. Our goal is to reduce our overall impact by means of education, collaboration, and implementation of new and innovative material and processes.
Our Fibers:
Certified Organic Cotton (non-toxic, no GMO), Post-Consumer Recycled Cotton, Post-Consumer Recycled Polyester, Modal, Tencel
Dyeing & Finishing:
We use low impact dyes and finishes. Our local dye house is Bluesign compliant and one of the most environmentally friendly dye houses in the world. On average, we use 40% less chemicals, 50% less electricity, 65% less water, and 30% less natural gas resulting in 50% lower emissions.
Local Manufacturing:
Our entire manufacturing process takes place within an 8-mile radius. We knit our own fabric, dye it locally, cut, sew, print and pack at our two facilities located in Rancho Dominguez, California.
Less Production Waste:
100% of the fabric scraps generated during the cutting process is recycled. This adds up to about 200,000 lbs. of material per year that doesn’t end up in the landfill. Additionally, we recycle all production byproducts such as boxes, yarn cones, poly bags, packaging material, pallets, paper, bottles, and cans.
